Chicago, We Might Have a Problem

That game last night scared me.  Not because of the final score or even that now the Bulls are down 2-1 in the series.  What scared me was how much that game reminded me of game two.  The Heat smothered the Bulls defensively in game two and the Bulls didn’t appear to have an answer for it in game three either.  It’s the same stuff they have been seeing since the Indiana series, doubling Rose high off the pick and roll and making him give up the ball early so the other players have to make plays.  The difference is that that Heat are faster, quicker and just flat out, better at doing it, than either the Hawks or the Pacers.

Get Me This Taj Gibson Poster

WOW!!!  Somebody get me this Taj Gibson poster with the quickness.  I did not know that Taj had that in him, let alone to do it twice.  It's like Taj Gibson turned into Blake Griffin and just decided to throw down two of the most epic dunks I have ever seen.  Those dunk were so ridiculous that people aren't even talking about Ronnie Brewer's dunk on Chris Bosh, and that was serious dunk.

Cleveland Beats the Heat and Lebron is a Punk...Again

 

The Cavs beat the Heat and Lebron James last night 102-90.  Does this make everything better for the fans in Cleveland?  No, but I guarantee they feel good right now.  The Cavs won their 15th game of the season, in a game that they controlled from beginning to end.  Lebron had a triple double, but that won't matter, because everyone will remember how he acted like a bitch...again.

You said it Dwyane, not me.  I never thought I would watch a YouTube montage of missed NBA shots and enjoy it, but I was wrong.  My only problem with the video is the music.  I have no clue what message the maker of the video is trying to send.  Is he saying that Soulja Boi and the Heat both suck?  I personally would have gone with "The Heat is On" by Glen Frey as some sarcastic background music.

PS - I can't believe 35 people clicked "dislike" on the video for "The Heat is On".  It's an absolute outrage.

El Heat cried after losing to Los Bulls

After the Heat lost their fourth straight game on Sunday, some of the players were reportedly very emotional in the locker room.

According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Spoelstra said: "There are a couple of guys crying there in the locker room." Brian Windhorst of ESPN also confirmed the report.

It has been a rough stretch for Miami. The Chicago Bulls beat the Heat by one point after both LeBron James and Dwyane Wade missed shots in the final seconds.

On Friday, the San Antonio Spurs gave the Heat their worst loss of the season, crushing them 125-95.

Miami gave up a 24-point lead in the third quarter the previous night against Orlando. The Magic pulled off an amazing comeback to win 99-96 after Chris Bosh and LeBron missed 3-point attempts in the final seconds. 

I can't even comprehend grown ass men crying after losing a regular season basketball game.  I kind of get it when it is a college kid who just lost his last game as a senior and is never going to play basketball again, but these guys are pros, and need to act like it.  

My big question here is, who are the "couple of guys crying"? I think we can safely say that one of them is Bosh, since he cried after the Orlando game.  The other guy is trickier.  It has to be someone who has a lot at stake, since it made him cry, so that rules out the role players.  I don't think a guy like Dwyane Wade, who has already won a championship, is going to cry after any regular season game.  So it has to be Lebron.  He has proven himself as a sore loser in the past and this goes along with that image perfectly. 

I would love to know what guys around the league think about this. I know what I think.  Next time it is Noche Latina, the NBA should issue La Heat jerseys to the team from Miami.

Yesterday could not have turned out better for the Bulls

Bulls beat Heat, Celtics trade away Kendrick Perkins and Celtics lose to the Nuggets.  All they did was win, win, win.

First off the game last night. The Bulls beat the Heat last night 93-89. Great game played by the whole team (except Keith Bogans, but that is expected), especially Omer Asik who had 11 rebounds and played great defense coming off the bench. Wade and Lebron had big games, well until Lebron tossed up that brick at the end of the game, but the Bulls defense shut down the rest of the team. That is exactly the type of game the Bulls needed to show the league they are for real  after everybody started slobbering all over the Knicks after the Carmelo trade.

On top of the win, the Bulls also won because the Celtics inexplicably traded their best big man, Kendrick Perkins, to the Thunder for Jeff Green. The Celtics strength is their size and getting rid of size, just makes no sense for them. So inevitably the Celtics lost last night and the Bulls are now 2 games out of first place, which is definitely with in reach.

PS - Chris Bosh, get your punk ass off the ground.  That was the worst flop ever.

Bulls vs Heat tonight, both teams at full strength, let's do this

It seems like the Bulls and the Heat were the only teams that didn't make trade deadline deals today, but that benefits the fans tonight because we get Bulls vs Heat in Chicago tonight with full rosters and no excuses.  The Bulls beat the Heat 99-96 on January 15th in Chicago the first time the two teams played, but neither Joakim Noah or Lebron James played in the game. 

So let's see how these teams match up at full strength tonight.  Who will cover Rose for the Heat?  How will the Bulls try to stop Lebron and Wade when they are on the court together? Can the Heat rebound against the Bulls healthy front court? Will Lebron dance around on the court like a little bitch again? Let's see if we get some answers tonight.
